Poetry

Never fear…

earth & water

help the flowers grow.

Poetry – Morning light

It’s simple

to just stand here

watching

the sun rise

over the rooftops

Reaching for that

first golden ray

it warms my skin

I look down

onto the street below

there he is

stirring up

the last

of the morning mist

Such pleasure

to be quiet

in the first

morning light.

Poetry

Swoosh
fresh air
fog lifted
haze blown
eyes open

Everything
suddenly vivid
senses alert
breathe deep
revived.

Poetry – revisited

There are old stories

that live inside my mind

so familiar

quietly whispered

so many times.

I sense the warmth

as my breath flows out

into the space around me

my body suspended

floating heavy & limp

air pulled from my lips

I know the end

shall we go back

start again?

Poetry – time

She whispered cautiously

into the ear of time…

take me with you,

she breathed.

Time sat down beside her

and gently caressed her thigh…

move as I flow, my love,

and you will never be left behind.

Poetry

To love unconditionally doesn’t mean you never scowl it means that even when you look through knitted brows the heart is just as big warm and loving.

Poetry & music

Each note vibrates

through my body.

Flows through

the sadness, the tears.

Sound kindles

the fire within.

It is what

keeps me whole.

Poetry

There is a great
calamity of ideas
that thrust around
inside my mind.
The trick
is to settle
those thoughts
just enough
to allow them
to flow
in one direction
outward
downward
onto the page
below.
