Poetry – ripples

everything

we do

undulates

outward

look around

it can be seen

along the surface

of the waters…

what is it that

your ripples

send out

into the world?

Poetry – fall from my grasp

the words

that bubble up

from my heart

tumble

tenderly

lovingly

from my lips

they are mine

given freely

to the world

around me

honest

pure

no matter

how many

fall from my

grasp

they are not

nothing

but a part

of me

my

being

seeds

upon

soil

in

the

minds

of

others

Poetry – because, well…

Her mind

might go

this way

or that way

twirl around

and around

fall deep

into thought

or fly high

in the clouds

but one thing

never changes

will always be true

I’m not going to say

because, well

i don’t want to.

Poetry – in the dark

waiting

in the dark…

below the grotty

street lamp

soft glow

blurred lines

I know

you’ll never come

but I can not

walk away

so I stand

waiting

in the dark…

for today

is not the day.

Poetry – shadow of mine

I bend

sway

to rhythm

of the tide

take my hand

sweet breeze

caress my body

with the sands

of time

make me

love you

dear sunset

with each

ripple

lapping wave

frothy waters

upon my ankles

dance with me

shadow of mine

stay with me

never let go.

Poetry – free falling

It has lived

inside of me

for so many years…

I fall backward

free falling

into the story

inside myself…

time distorts

stretching

folding

in on itself

I almost

nearly

feel whole…
