Birds chirp

wings beating

in the air

a chorus

of frogs below

squirrels chitter

wind rustling

through

last years leaves

reaching out

warm sun

cool breeze

firm yet sways

smooth papery

to touch

yet rough

against

my forehead

pause…

a moment.

Poetry

Swoosh
fresh air
fog lifted
haze blown
eyes open

Everything
suddenly vivid
senses alert
breathe deep
revived.

Poetry – time

She whispered cautiously

into the ear of time…

take me with you,

she breathed.

Time sat down beside her

and gently caressed her thigh…

move as I flow, my love,

and you will never be left behind.

To love unconditionally doesn’t mean you never scowl it means that even when you look through knitted brows the heart is just as big warm and loving.

West Wind

There comes a time
when you must let
the west wind
blow all your stress
and worries away.

Breathe deeply
and start again.
